ok in a nut shell heres my problem maybe one of you guys can help me out.  A buddy of mine does some nice dana 60 cross over set ups but when it gets down to the steering gear box he pulls the center out of it opening the box up replaces it with a dodge center so it has the dodge splines so you can run the dodge factory arm that already has a 4 inch drop in it and it works well with the crossover set up.  I had another buddy tell me this is true cause they are both saginaw gear boxes. he said don't go thru all that work just order a pitman arm for the same year truck as the dodge the spline will be the same.  very hard to believe. I hate to pull my gear box apart if I can just order that new arm.  so what I am working with is my truck is a 87 chevy v1500 4x4 orginally with 305 tbi 700r4 208 tcase.  thank you much for the help.

I have a saginaw steering box in my my 98jimmy and I know any jeep pitman arm will fit on it

Yep, a lot of people replace their 2nd Gen Ram rear brake wheel cylinders with GM ones, because they bolt in and are better. You'd be surprised how much Dodge and GM stuff interchanges. Hell most Jeeps use GM steering columns and such. GM ignition lock cylinders, etc. ==roll

I got my complete setup crossover steering with full high steer for about 500 through parts mike. i think the arm was $70 ??? but that was a couple years ago
She said the sound of that truck just turns her on

The guy that is doing mine said at the end I will have about 150 in the whole set up but If I could just get that arm and bolt it on that would save from tearing it all apart. I have the dana 60 arm and the cross over bar and the new gear for the gearbox but would like to just bolt it on
