44" tire help please

my wifes truck needs new tires on her.  She has 44  x 16.5 on it now but its time for some new ones. ge3tting lots of dry cracks in them.  I've been looking all over the internet and it seems everything i find close to that size is very aggressive. i what her to have a little better ride on the road but still be able to do a little off roading to. What is the most road friendly tire. Im thinking about selling my four wheeler to buy them for her but i want to get the right tires.

I like the 41" Radial Pitbull tires....the rock crawler tread style....at $500 each....Radial....worth every penny

i have seen some dick cepeck 44s that looked road friendly  almost like micky tompsons bajas.

true, but 46" mickeys would look REALLY good coming down the road!

What's on the truck now ?  Brand and style? I do agree a nice radial would be worth it for the ride quality

shes riding around on 44s for a dd? if not and its only a bogger then get me a job where you work b/c i have some cracks on my tires and would love to just go out and buy some 3 thou dollar tires lol

The op looks to be from Ohio, I'm not sure what they have for lift laws, but maybe that's why he can put 44's on and be legal
