New guy

Hey y'all,
I'm a new guy.  I live in Genesee Twp., about 3 miles from The Mounds.  I've had several off road trucks, but recently picked up an 86 S10 Blazer with a fresh '85 Vette motor in it (less the tuned port) for my 15 y/o boy and I to play with.  We're trying to build a mild mud truck that's still a driver.  We've got 6" of suspension lift and 3" of body lift.  We're running 32" BFG Mud Terrains, 4.10 gears with an Eaton in the rear and the stock 231 t-case.  We're busy working out the bugs and we hit the mounds quite often.  The truck is flat black and the license plate is TOYTRCK.  I've seen a lot of you guys around town and I've got a lot of respect for your trucks.  I'm a machinist/fabricator in Troy at the North American engineering center for Magna Powertrain (formerly New Venture/New Process Gear).  I've also got a small machine/fab shop at my house with a mill, lathe, surface grinder, boring bar, and mig, tig, arc, and oxy-acetylene welding.  Hit me up if you want to hit the trail!  I'm looking forward to meeting you guys and hanging out.

Thanks Mudder!  I like your truck too!  351?  Yours is one of my very favorite Ford body styles!  I had a 95 F150 like that in the most beautiful blue...best Ford color ever imho!  Yeah, we'll probably be at TGW!
