i myself dont think so because its just the govt becoming more of a nanny state more than ever.  i was gonna put this in the funny pages because its so funny here is a quote from the article;

That's why it's time that the government steps in and regulates sugar in ways similar to tobacco and alcohol, the authors wrote. That includes taxes, age restrictions and other policies to control the distribution of sugar

what i found so funny about this quote is what if a parent bought a box of kids cereal for there children then that parent could get a ticket for providing a controlled substance to a minor.

Less government control is what we need. And less double standards. Right now, they ban smoking in public, and make them pay more taxes, but it's not ok to make obese people pay higher insurance premiums while having just as many health effects as smokers... And no I'm not a smoker.
