low to middle income rant

my wife and i got raise this year and took us into a new tax bracket and now we dont get earned income credit , home heating or a whole bunch of other deductions we got in past we made 1,500.00 dollars more this year and it cost us 3,800.00 or our return kinda makes us want to give back there pissy little raise

Well alot of things are going to change next year anyway....I believe the eared income and some other things are being phased out....


I always claimed as many dependants as I legally could ...when I used to work for other people ...That way I had more in my hand all year and the feds had less to piss away

i work full time and so does my wife and we r putting a daughter thru college on our income  and we struggle we have never asked or received A GOVERNMENT HAND OUT  EVERYTHING I OWN I PAID FOR WITH MY OWN HARD WORK  ITS NOT RIGHT THAT PEOPLE WHO RECEIVE HELP ALL YEAR GET TAX REFUNDS AND NEVER PAY A DIME IN  DID I TAKE OFFENSE TO YOUR REPLY ....HELL YES !!!!!!!!!!!!

If we end the Federal Reserve Bank and return to sound money (money backed by gold), the government will no longer be able to spend more than it can take in through taxation and we will all be wealthier.  How???  Because when the government can't pay for it's spending by income from taxation, it prints money out of thin air.  When it does this, the laws of supply and demand cause the dollars you've already earned, the ones in your wallet, to become worth LESS.  You feel this through inflation, or the rise in consumer prices.  Your government is committing fraud against you every time it fires up it's printing presses.  If you want to learn more, please read Ron Paul's book, End The Fed.  If you'd like to restore prosperity to even the poorest in this once great nation, please learn all you can about Dr. Paul and support his run for president.  Thank you.

It sucks, this is the first year I will be eligible for any of that crap. Income tax is a joke anyways, its theft. Plain and simple taxation is theft no matter how you try to defend it. You have a right to keep what you earn the government has no place in stealing it out of your paycheck.

I know this is about Tax RETURNS but if you had the money in the first place wouldnt it have been nice?   I dont know what bracket you are in but I will say if it wasnt for the IRS i would have had about $3000 extra in my pocket this year, instead of sitting around waiting to find out what they decide I deserve to have back.   One thing you could do for next year is start a "business" just make up something simple and save your gas receipts for tax credit. I know a few ppl that do that.   and of course check out any/all books by Dr. Ron Paul as flint punk says. They are all eye open'ers to what the is going on.

The government is you and me.  That's where they get their money.  If it's fraud you're worried about, you shouldn't let that stop you.  As I explained earlier, the dollars printed by the federal reserve bank are fraudulent.

just smile and know that the money you all pay in has made some family that gets back 5 to 10 grand....and think they deserve it lol...very happy. what really pisses me off is they don't use the money to better themselves or their kids...they piss it away like a kid that just found 20 bux...i don't feel sorry for the poor, i pity them cause they don't have the sense of pride that those of us that earn their own way do...jmt

my wife and I earned two grand more last year and it cut our usual refund by $2500...

I let my wife claim the kids because she makes less, I claim zero so they take quite a bit, but we get most of that back, we use it for home and vehicle repairs, and what ever else we need...
