ok i got a used dvd player for my truck and i get a disc error when i put a dvd in it. anyone know what it could be?

its either got too many scratches on the disk, dust on the lens or the lens is shot...

does it not play any DVDs? what about CDs?

it will play cds but the play funny almost like the skip but it was a brand new cd. same with dvd hardy any scratches at all. im thinking lens or the dvd mech is bad.

your laser is out of adjustment...mine just did the same thing

you take it to someone and they adjust it
