any body make there own maple syrup ?

what quality of syrup did you get from this years sap, beacuse around here they were saying that with the early spring/summer that they were only able to make light colored syrup.

we hit the late run and it was all really dark .alot of work but it is fun !

Me and my dad used to do this 20 years ago,  I remember it taking a ALOT of sap water to get a small amount of maple syrup.

It was fun, house smelled super good with that sap water boiling, but it was alot of work.
