I have to get this upgraded/rebuilt. I can get it done alot cheaper if I buy the parts. What exactly needs to be upgraded to handle more torque and hp? Like parts do I need to order?

How much hp are you planning on running? TH400's are no joke, their pretty stout stock.  If your running something with Hi HP, you can upgrade to a 36 sprag one way clutch and direct drum. also a billet input shaft and a shift kit.

spagless, reverse manual valvebody, fully brazed/welded torque converter. seems to be what all the big power guys run.

Running 800+
I'm using the reverse full manual valve bodie. Where can I find the other parts?

This site has all the parts I need for sale. Scroll to the bottom and check em out. Like $250 I get all the upgrades. Look at their prices and see if they as too much, idk what a deal is.

I have a th475 same as 400 but has straight cut gears that are stronger,  its a 2wd  reverse went out on it, ill sell if your interested,

No thanks. I already got her in pieces, just waiting for the parts. And mine is a 4x4 trans.
