Sounds like it just drives like an old ford. My 78 has some nasty death wobble... my steering gear/ steering shaft have a lotta play in them.

They said buy something you can afford... so i bought a FORD

Like ranger dave said tires. I know mud tires like lots of weight. Ive even had some 33s that wobbled.

I will vote on trackbar
track bar is tight could the angle be wrong? it olny does it on pavment to!

xjs3667

are sure its tight, I thought mine was tight too..... have someone shake the steering wheel back and forth and look and all the ball joints and bushings and tie rods and track bar

is your trac bar and drag link on the same angle? or very close? is there something that triggers it like a bump or is it just speed? if it was speed i would check the tires first then i assume you still have rubber bushings in the trac bar? if you do throw it in the garbage and make a track bar with heims. i have replace every steering component bushing nut an bolt in every ford ive owned and heims in the trac bar and fresh rubber or tires worn well fixes it everytime.

rangerwheelinmike

track bar and drag link are the same angle ill have to have someone turn it and check it out

Strapless

I would run a stabilizer regardless. i only run duals.

homewrecker john

are you sure that alignment is right?  toed out causes the death wobble too?
