Ok so I live in a trailer park and the park manager told me and my neighbor that if we didnt take down our confederate flags that she would give us a 30 day notice and then have them removed? 

I know this is against our 1st Amendment rights, as freedom of speech.

I dont care what your views are on the flag as it doesnt pertain to my rights, and Im not flying it for anything to do with racism and such.


What I want to know is what I we can do to fly our flag again without it getting removed?

Problem #2 you probably got blacks living in that park that might be offended by it........maybe she thinks it might draw them away....................or maybe some of em bytched about it?


What I would do is display an American flag above it.....................and explain that you are celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.................and see what she says.........if its still an issue........then I would contact local authorities and find out.   But,  I would tell them the reason that I explained above......because it is a legit reason TO display it.

yes there are some blacks that live here and we talked to them and they got no problem with it.... its some of the other  white folk that are complaining to her...... we have contacted a lawyer about it and hes guna be calling us back tomorrow, with more details on what to do next since she is in the wrong and he says we do have a case since she is infringing on our rights.

im not for your rights being infringed upon but if your only flying that flag and not a american flag, and did not fight in the civil war, or come from the south then your just like the rest of the morons that do it just to be cool when its a very tacky, distasteful display.  imo

I do fly it with the American flag, and you obviously didnt read my first post where it said I dont care what your opinion is on the matter, as everyone sees it differently.

I would never fly that flag, it is a disgrace to America, and what the flag stands for, It is also against the flag code as, there should be no pictures placed on the American flag, and it should not be dipped in the manner it is.

but I guess thats another subject as to why the flag code isnt really enforced now days, as it is imprinted on clothing, napkins, and all kinds of things, all that go against the code, where the flag should never be worn except on a military uniform, and never be printed on anything that will be discarded.

yep he said we are in the right, currently the owners of the trailer park cant find a lawyer to take on the case lol  we are waiting for a phone call from their corporate office should be within a week, letting us know if we can or cant, and obviously if they say we cant, we're going to court

I never heard of the flag code at all,  were could a person get a copy of it.  I know on the internet, but I do not have internet at home.
