what size carb should i get?

got a .60 over 350 with flat top pistions. 5.10 lift cam 280 duration, 64cc 2.02/160 edelbrock aluminum heads, preformer rpm dual plane intake.
have been told 650cfm and 750cfm,
going to get/order a new one friday, going to get a edelbrock, let me know what you think.

bigger is always better as it can be "detuned" its hard to pull something out of nothing if you have one thats to small. a buddy of mine who is an engine builder posed on another forum saying he went to a show where a guy had a 770 holley on an 8hp briggs an stratton just to proove it can be done.

Depends on how ya want it to run. U want low end low rpm torque? Stick with a 650 or a 670. U want high rpm power cuz its gonna be held at the higher rpms for periods of time? Go with the 750. I run a 670 sreet avenger on my trucks 408 thats specd similar to urs. Wasnt very driveable out of the box, but with some rejeting and a change in shooter size it kicks butt

Lol I seen on tv before that they do have a big one barrel carb that bolts on areg 4 barrel carb intake looked cool.

750 should be fine 850 would be alittle big but would work and have extra when you go bigger!  I have a 355 with about the same specs you got I run on a 600 holley and it chould use a 750 for the hi rpm runs...

Depends on how high of rpms you running
Up 6500 rpms go with a 650 dp
Running over 6500 rpms must go bigger carb to feed the Rs

Get an Offenhauser 6-pack with 3 Holley 2-barrels, hook up as many as it can stand! This one has Rochesters on it, get adapter plates and let it scream. Notice the linkage, you can disconnect the link to the other carbs in a couple seconds for streetability

I just went out and bought a new 750 edelbrock with manual choke. Sure does start a lot easier with a choke now lol

run a predator. only gives what the motor wants. variable 350 to 950 cfm
