well went to 1 bog this year and the motor is acting up and i really dont want to go buy another motor or spend a lot on this motor. going to pull the front apart and see if timing chain is bad. if its going to cost a lot I think I am going to take some time off from bogging and going to the mounds. i can use the money to do other stuff and get things done around the house. so if you dont see much of me then you know why.

those are popular motors... which gen is it? the old style or the newer one? if i end up that way i'll give ya a hand if ya want man

its a 93 old style. I'll take any one of them just running good and i can swap my heads so my intake will work. i have had 2 people over here and we tried everything. its just worn out and needs parts or i need a diff motor.

well it looks like i found the issue. should have known. looks like that brand new cdi box from summit racing took a crap. took the stuff out of the dist and put the stock stuff back in the dist fired right up and i can time it normal and it seems to run smooth when i give it throttle. cant run it long dont have coolant system hooked back up yet. but i plan to test it out tomorrow and see what happens going to contact summit racing and get a new cdi box and see if it works if not going to return it and get my money back. kinda sucks i liked having a rev limiter.

i think im having the same problem with my 94 blazer wont start unless i dump gas in the intake then will run all day just not good  and wont restart with out dumping gas in it not really sure whats going on

my 93 blazer did that too. i think it has to do with the fuel pump might want to check into that.

idk then maybe injectors. i didnt mess with mine i sold it. had other issues too didnt want to deal with it.

yea they have problems with the maxi injector and some other stuff they had recalls on alot of the fuel system
