oil pressure?

friend of mine has a 4.0l in a 95 yj.we went messin' around a couple weekends ago and since then the oil pressure has been almost none.he changed the gauge,sensor,and oil pump and still has hardly anything.he also has a f150 w/460 and its doin' the same thing.and that was at the same place.  ???

The top rod bearing usually takes it the most, could have spun em like mentioned ^^^

It sounds like its your bearings, playin hard will always do it.  Check your oil and see if it's shiney.
You will always spin a bearing if your engine is cold, then u fire it up and drop the hammer.

Does it knock?

thats not true... been doing it to my truck for 7 years!!

but it sounds like the main or rod  bearings...  did you go in any water?  water in the oil can make for a bad day.

Lol. Not saying you can't, I'm saying you shouldn't. And depending on the engine, some can't handle it, and the bearing almost always spin.

X2 on the water, milkshake oil isn't as good as it sounds.

doesn't knock,oil doesn't look like a milkshake.the jeep did have a spun bearing,thanks for info on that.but the 460 in the ford doesn't do any of the mentioned. someone told me fords are known for oil pumps goin' bad? is that true?  ???

its possible to be somthing as simple air in the line, or bad gauge. that was the problem on my other truck.
