HELP 302

I took my stock 302 out witch ran ok put in a mustang 302 roller went gear to gear on timing runs ok no power set the timing change the coil new wires plugs cap rotor map no vacum
leaks whats next

you get the firing order right H O motors have different firing order then reg 302

if it's fuel injected you may need to get rid of the timing gears and go back to a chain. they may be making enough "noise" to make the computer retard the timing to get rid of the  "knock" it thinks is there. Just a thought.

fireing order is right check both ways and i will look into the gear to gear

my 302 dont have a knock sensor... are you runing the old intake and injectors off the old motor?

ya old injectors put the intake off the other motor so i could use duel thotlebody i do have bigger injectors i was thinking of putting them in

Put a timing chain on it not gears

why go back to chain i was told gears are better

i ran gears in my mustang  my bronco with the windsor stroker no problems

went with bigger injectors still messing with the timing much better already

get rid of the fuel injection my 91 f150 just got a new motor transplant went with a 71 block gt40 heads new adjustable roller rockers and a big cam a decent intake for dirt cheap and a 600 edelbrock my truck rips now way better than that stock turd 302 just MHO and i switched everything to mechanical even fuel pump

I was told before to get rid of fuel injection that might be the thing I am tired of messy with everything else
