I just put my new motor in built sbf it's in my only vehicle 91 f150 9" lift 33's everything on truck is stock I like to go out and play with my truck but its not that capable it has gumbo mudders on it and I can easily clean them out but I have p00 for clearence and open diffs but if I go bigger tires like 38's my axles Prally won't hold up at all and I'll have to regear which isn't cheap or easy from what I have heard and I can't afford axle swaps. But the big thing is I want to keep it my dd but a very capable weekend warrior so what do you guys think?

Well I only drive 6 miles a day so it really isn't a dd and my wife has a brand new car I would just still like to drive it around through town every now and then

when i bogged my dd (often) i would run bfg at's all week than put my boggers on for the weekend. saved a lot of wear. so i would say start with the basics, good recovery points, clevices, fire extuingsher, maybe weld the rear if no money for lockers, and i definetly would look around for a nice rack to put behind the drivers window to keep bad things out. its not fun if its not safe!

I was going to get a locker anyways and maybe some 35 or bigger but what will these axles withstand I know when to put the foot down and when not to I don't like fixing my truck after every weekend so tire size is important I have lift and power but only 33

hes speaking from experience, we both drive our rigs there, wheel em then drive em home...  worst thing is if you wanna play and still use it as a DD, you HAVE to maintain them more then normal..

GotMud?

as ive always said, go big and still drive home...
