I'm dropping in a carb'd 355 into my truck, and i was wondering if i can still run the stock computer-advanced distributor / coil setup, or if i need to change everything over to a HEI or something like that?

second question:  i have a MSD 6AL box that i'd LOVE to put in.  does that change the answer?  ideally, i'd love to get rid of the entire computer issue completely, so if i ditch the computer setup, what kind of distrib / coil setup should i go to?  HEI?  other?  thanks in advance to everyone.

do i go regular distributor and blaster 2 coil, or HEI?  how difficult is the wiring going to be?

I used pro billit dissy, balster 2 coil, 6al box and looked up the wiring online
