I've had about all I can take with starting and ignition issues ==pissed

The truck has a brand new distributor assembly. The only thing that wasn't replaced was the ignition coil on top.
The truck ran good for a few days but then recently it started to run like it's missing a few cylinders. So today I took the cap off the ignition coil to see if I had a bad connection. I unplugged the white conector, looked fine so unplugged it back in and now it won't start. I even replaced the coil and it still won't start. Really frustrated and need help.

Pickup coil is possible... just dropped a new distributor in my dads dodge and the air gap was so far out it wouldnt start... adjusted it to spec. Fired right up.

They said buy something you can afford... so i bought a FORD

But the truck was running fine. What could have happened when I unplugged that coil that could cause the truck to not start

The wires that come from the pick-up are very fragile and couldve got broke when you unplugged stuff.. Im just guessin ==dunno What are we workin on..?

K.I.S.S. it!
start with..
1. does the wire even have power to it ???
2. sure you plugged into the correct port (ign. not tach)
3. connector - corrosion, dirt etc.. @ the connection.

it ran before..
you touched certain items to inspect.
now it don't run

good bet it's whatever you touched.

Previous problem was a bad ignition coil, and we replaced everything around it till we figured out the problem. But then we put a used one in the new distributor.
