a boat question

So my gramps has a 12 ft boat with a motor that I want but it needs registerd and he had the boat and just tossed the motor on, so my question is, with no registration how can I get mc numbers? Just a bill of sale?

yep all you need is bos..... and you only need a mc number if there is a motor on it
