Putting a Cam & Crank Sensor on a TBI block

they do sell kits for it or you could piece it together from a ls1

piecing it together sounds more my style. lol. Dont 4.3's have the sensors or atleast one of them in the timing cover? wonder if that would bolt on a sbc.

i dont think the tbi 4.3 have them, at least the one in my brothers s10 didnt. Im pretty sure the vortec 4.3 have them tho. and Yea it should bolt right up, there is a ring that goes on the crank in front of the timing gear, this is what the sensor uses to pick up a signal.  Im not sure but I think the crank diameter there is different on the 4.3 to sbc.  If not then bolt n go

I'd like to get the whole port injection set up off a camaro 350 that has a OBDII system. If such a thing ever existed lol

they do exist, pretty rare tho cuz they were  "half year" models, gm switched between obd1 and 2 halfway through the year, and yes the even rarer ones were obd2 with a obd1 port on em, these were the ones gm was Guinea pigging the obd2 systems on.   but yea you could swap all the stuff from a tpi onto a tbi motor, just dont use the opti-spark bs its pretty hard to find the obd2 computers for the tpi, but there is aftermarket computers and systems fairly cheap for the conversion,
