Im building a new bogger and im curious if any one has ever set up a brake system that is mounted right to the back of the transfer case at the yoke. ive seen alot of parking brakes put there, but i havent found any disc brake set ups yet and im not 100% sure if it will work. be nice to keep the caliper some what out of the mud. any one have any ideas or thoughts ?

It'll work it would be the same as a pinion brake on the axle.  Just rememberIf you break a driveshaft, axleshaft, or anything else behind the brake you won't have brakes.

I put one on the back of my 205, works great. I you break the rear shaft it will still stop as long as you are in 4 wheel drive, you are stopping the tcase not the wheels

No i bought mine from a guy that went to 2.5 tons, I know that the caliper is off a 90s lumina and the rotor is off a 80s 1/2 ton chevy pickup. If you pm me your number i can send you pics mounted on the truck
