Never been, but have heard about people catching big catfish out of there.  Anyone have any luck or have heard the same thing?

I never had any luck over there, but Always get catfish and good sized ones too all the time at lobdell lake, in the channel there

Thanks!  I have never been out that far for fishing, but i would like to make a trip soon with my brother and possibly my grandfather.  Whats the best way to get there from the lansing area?

69east to m15 north,  then follow the signs,    when ya think ya heading out there,  I might have to make a little fishing trip too :0 my old man been wanting to take the boat out and go fishin all year

I always get some good bass over there by the damn,   I get over by the low bridge , by the dock in columbiaville too

Yup i fish over there to someone has to lay on the floor and push the boat down to get under it lol

mott lake is a good spot for cat fish. go late evening into the night using chicken liver

Me and the wife are actually looking to buy a pretty decent house right off Kearsly reservoir... From what I been told there real good fishing there too, ha and we'll be closer to the mounds

cant get on it anymore inless you have your own boat launch!  I wish i could fish it i live cupple miles from it

You can get on Kearsley lake as long as you can put your boat in off a dirt launch that is shallow. if you take pierson rd back to the club house. just be fore the club house on the right side there is a small dirt launch no dock. not very deep though probably work good with a row boat

Nope they closed it.down... golf.corse cut a bunch of big trees down infont of it and put no trespassing up

really. that sucks we use to go back there and unload our ice fishing stuff and drag it out. didnt take long for somebody to ruin it for everyone that is for shure

Head up river north of town about 1 mile little island BIG cats Bigest around 8 lb

Thanks!  We have been fishing at webber dam which alot closer to home for me.  My best catch was a 20+ pound carp!
