i bought this carb with the engine i'm building.  after looking up the casting number, i find out that it's a MANUAL CHOKE!  crap!  this is going into my daily driver, onto a 355, Edelbrock (sp?) Performer intake, stock heads (ported), and a .465 Summit cam.  How hard is it to run a cable into the cab to keep the manual choke, or should i trade it for an electric choke model?

dumber question.... is the 600cfm big enough for this motor?  keep in mind, this is a daily driver, weekend fun runner.

the carb is good size for your motor. far as the choke gose run a cable or change it over to electric choke, its easy to do.

carb sixe is just fine for motor.... Running a cable is easy to do, get one them choke cables for a lawn mower at ace or gillroys  there pretty cheap and work just fine...

thanks!!!  how about this question:  would a 670 truck avenger carb be better?  i drive it daily, but i like to get on it, and i like going to comp bogs and whatnot, and bounce around quite a bit.
