How do you change your profile Picture

Hey everyone I am curious on how you change your profile picture... I am trying to load a Picture of Jay and I in front of the Mackinac Bridge and its not working.... PLease Help

go to profile at top,  then on left  click on forum profile info.   

then select upload my own pic...  make sure your pic is the size or you wont be able to upload it, might have to resize it first

Put the pic on photobucket then copy and paste the IMG code into the spot for your profile pic. Poof like magic.

if the pic is on facebook you can right click, click "copy image location" and paste that in the "I have my own pic:" box.

I use vso image resizer, google it and download it, do the free trial, its the same as full version just you have to click on a box that says continue everytime you use it lol  but its free..... easy to use, after you download program, right click on the pic you need to resize, then click on vso image resizer. the program will open and you can set settings to either resize original pic or make a copy of the pic with new size. go to the size boxes, type 430x300 and your pics will work

The photobucket is so much simpler, been usin it for years, Id just make a quick account and use the bulk uploader, so easy and you dont have to download anything into your pc, it all stays on photobucket - I tried other photo storage sites but photobucket is the best.

I agree photobucket is a little simpler... But I just don't like all my pictures being out there for anyone to take or see... at least by keeping them on my pc they have to try a little harder to get em

just put a watermark on your pics, so that way you can see where they go.

You can set your albums to private or have them viewable by people that have the password to the individual folder in your account. You can make different passwords for each folder, so only certain people can see certain folders. Its very secure.

i think watermark on a photo suxxx, i make my watermark small so it doesnt ruin the pic I took & someone can crop it out if they wanna print pic, jmo
i never save pics with watermarks on them, if i do, i recrop them so i dont have it on there,also hate pics with date stamp ,RUINS THE PIC.....

only reason i watermark my pics is i own a website,its a tool to get new members
