Going from a 205 to a 208...ford

Is this a direct bolt in or will i need to modify shafts? I imagine ill probably have to fab a shift linkage too. Just wondering whats all involved.
When in doubt, throttle out!

splines might be different  google it up n see how many splines and how long the shafts are

Rear shaft will be different, front same.

Is yer 208 slip yoke or fixed?  And I assume the 205 is. Fixed yoke

The 205 is fixed, not sure about the 208. Im thinking about buying one.
