something like that happened to a friend of mine about 11 years ago, only it was a car and there was no one around to help him, he'd have been fine if he would have worn his seat belt...

been in some crazy accidents including 2 trucks on their side.  I always wear a seatbelt, on the road or the trail.  I worry about rolling if I have my kids so i take it easy, but if i'm alone i dont worry too much.

You can only go as far as your truck will take you

When I rolled mine, I felt really safe....but I also knew we built a stong cage....without it would have been a different story

michigan maniac

Dang that was crazy, glad to see everyone spring into action so quick,  yeah rolling into deep mud or water would seem scary even with a cage, but at least your cab wouldn't crush and you would have a way out

BAD APPLE

Both my bogger and my trail rig have different attitudes, and take two different driving styles, not really affraid of a rollover in the jeep, so its never really on my mind but, the bronco has a pretty bad body roll and always feels like its going over, so the fear of a roll over is always there, and as of right now there is no roll cage, so if its a violent rollover the results probably wouldn't be in my favor so a roll cage is in the works over the winter
no rest for the wicked

Hammerlane

Dont' worry bout it when it's just me in the rig..
ALWAYS worry with kids..

anytime I have a new person in my truck I go thru a pre-trip "what if" and show them exactly how to unbuckle (4 points)
and the exits available.. and if I say "OUT" it means NOW!
I also practice unbuckling passsengers from time to time and apoligize to the ladies before hand for my hands in "that area"
my personal mindset is passengers first, then me.
and yea.. got roll bars.

since watchin a few rollovers, we put a cage in our truck too, things can happen fast , so its best to try to prepare yourself ahead of time.

Iv'e been in quite a few roll overs... Not a big fan loll but I never had or have a fear of rolling over in water.. just keeping your mind about you is the biggest thing to get out quick......   My fear is to roll it over in deep mud.....  you can move around in water... the same does not apply to mud... where it can be really thick and sticky, ..that just freaks me out loll    here come some night mares :)   ohh and I always wear a belt when ever there is a remote chance for a rollover or if Im doing something stupid
*Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone **** your wife and being proud to raise their kids.*
