Thank you so much for posting my flyer on the front rotation you are a very caring n great guy...

here is a bit of info for all of u who dont know me and my situation to give u a idea why i am doing the CHIARI FUN RUN

To Whom It May Concern,
I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Jennifer Lynch Hardacre. I am 29 years old and a 2nd Generation Agent Orange victim. You see, my father Perry Lynch served in Vietnam from 1969-1970. He was a Sergeant E5 with the 4/23 Infantry, 25th Division. He served in the III corp area that was heavily sprayed with Agent Orange to defoliate trees and brush. Little did anyone know that Agent Orange would store itself in fat cells of the Vietnam veteran and would be passed on to his or her children and possibly their grandchildren.
The Veterans Administration recognizes only a few conditions in the offspring of the Vietnam vet, Spina Bifida for instance. Due to my father's exposure, I have been diagnosed with a condition called Arnold Chairi Malformation that was present at birth but not diagnosed until 3 years ago. Since then, I have had 4 brain surgeries, am on large doses of pain killers and other medications to try to control the pain. I have also been diagnosed with Hydrocephelis. The prognosis is not good. I will never be able to work again and am unable to finish my college courses to become a policewoman. Another prognosis says possible paralysis and early death. Unfortunately, the Veterans Administration has denied me any kind of compensation because I don't have Spina Bifida, even though they recognize Spina Bifida in any form and any illness that is associated with it. Chairi is associated with Spina Bifida.
I am asking for your help in making the public and Vietnam vets and their children aware of this condition. On September 22, 2012, there will be a "Fun Run" to raise awareness to this condition. I am asking for a donation to this cause and would appreciate it if you would help by displaying a flyer in your club. Money raised from this event will go to the Chairi Association, Chairi awareness and also to help defray the costs of putting this event on.
My father fought for 3 years with cancer due to his Agent Orange exposure. On September 6, 2011, he lost his battle with cancer and "gave his all". I promised him that I would do everything possible to make the public aware of Chairi Malformation and its effects on the offspring of the Vietnam vets. I am not the only 2nd Generation Agent Orange victim out there. Many probably aren't even aware of this condition or that it exists until they start to show symptoms of it. Please help me make the public and our vets aware of this unrecognized condition and so their children are informed of what may be going on with their health. Please help me keep my promise to my father.
Enclosed is a flyer with our tentative schedule for this "Fun Run". You do not have to own a motorcycle to participate. Any or all vehicles are welcome, and if you do not want to go on the run, we will be having a dinner when the participants from the "Fun Run" return. You are welcome to just come to the dinner. We will have a drawing for a door prize also.
Thank you for any help you are able to give me, even if it is just by passing the word along and displaying our material.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Lynch Hardacre-2nd Generation Agent Orange Victim
