The Np208 was used in solid axle chevys from 1981 to 1987 and also in 1988 for K5 blazers and suburbans,

The Np241 was used in solid axle K5 blazers and suburbans and also some old body style 3/4 ton cab chassie trucks from 89-91.   The 1989 model year 241 still used the cable driven mechanical speedo. 1990-91 used an electric speedo.

IFS driverside drop  NP241's were used from 88-98 in 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks  and also in the old body style C/K trucks from 99-2000

If you are looking to get one, personally I'd get the 208, it's got the lowest gearing of most other Tcases. And if you got one mated to a 700r4, you will have 4 speeds, good for highway, and 1st gear has 25% lower gear than any other tranny. It's a good setup if you choose to run bigger tires without changing your diff. Gears. The only thing about a 700r4 that I didn't like, is the $ to fix. The 208 is a "dime a dozen" type of case. They are good, easy to come buy, and pretty cheap. The only thing that I'm not a fan of, you can stretch the chain, and if you took a rock to the case, u can crack it.
My friend had a crawler jeep with the 208, streched the chain, then broke the chain, it god wadded up in the case, then broke the case.

So I mean, everything has its draw backs, but even for them being aluminum and chain driven, they take some punishment. You got to put some REAL torque on em to brake the chain. But I'm sure u can get an upgraded chain.
