trade vs cash

Ok I see tons of people wanting to trade and few wanting to deal in cash. I personally deal in cash. Give me a pro and con list with both please?

cash is king (cheaper.. but its easier to trade, trade value for trade value.... if you follow that :-) and not a lot of people have cash to deal with

X2 cash is king and you can usually talk someone down when it comes to cash...... when it comes to trading its either same value for same value or in some cases, if its is something some one wants they may trade down for it... as in trade you an item that they have that is worth more value than your item for trade and vice versa

I prefer to deal in cash , as it helps the guy I buy from pay his wifes Bills

Then if I want something gone bad enough ....I will take trades in hopes I can get a better return out of the trade

The economy all started with trades ....way back in the day .....and it looks like it is heading back in that direction again

Usually people want to trade when they have been trying to sell their stuff for a long time with no luck. Sometimes you can get a good trade, but often you are trading into a problem. I just go for cash personally.

I think we all would prefer cash.... but I look at this way... not everyone has a ton of $$ to blow, so I usually do trades you just have to watch out for those shady people, Im one of those guys that will tell if something is wrong with whatever and Im not out to screw anyone its just not how I was raised

cash pays bills trades build toys lol.. its fun to trade some deal are good some not and sometimes you meet really cool people!!!!

Cash is always good, and trades can be good too, for example if I'm selling my 35 inch mud tires to buy a flat screen tv, and someone says they will trade a tv for the tires then I would prolly trade as long as both feel its an even deal, or add cash to make it equal

I'm always open to trades when I sell stuff, if I don't like what is being offered I simply say no thanks, you never know when someone has something that you might want or need

Well in my case i dont have stuff to trade, and im trying to find a ride, Ok I can not trade you a "dirt bike/quad" but i can give u $800 for u to go buy one, and give me what i want and its "no thanks trades only" Its like come one im trying to get somthing you have for cash so you can get somthing you want, im just adding a step to your already so hard life.... TRADE ONLY is bs...

I rarely see "trade only" deals... Everything is for sale for the right price!! I'm sure if your trade item was worth 400, and someone offered 600, I'm sure you would sell it and take the cash and make a profit, then go buy the item you were looking to trade for

you give him $800 dollars and he sits on the 800 forever trying to find a dirtbike or whatever and by the time bills come around he uses it up and screws him self out of the deal.. take your 800 and go buy a dirtbike and trade that way

i like to barter my pics to pay for my entrance fee to bogs. because sometimes i have just enough to get to the bog but not enough to get into the bog. and when i do that if the person putting on the bog has a rig that they are playing with i take a lot of pics of that and give them un-watermarked pics of their toy.
