Turbo 400 case id

Howdy y'all!!!

I'm a newbie here, and to the TH400 as well. Here's my question: I recently bought a 2wd TH400 to replace the TH350 4wd that was in my truck when I bought it. The bellhousing has the number 11 cast into it. What does the 11 signify? Another question, will my adapter that is on the NP205 t/c work with the TH400?

The previous owner had hooked the TH350 up to a 454, so you can imagine how well that worked out.

I know this has probably been asked before, but as I said, I am a newbie to this. My previous experience with 4wd has only  been with a 1999 Z71 and a 1974 Jeep CJ5.
