was just told my flywheel needs to be replaced in my Blazer, and after the crap-tastic time we had putting this engine in a couple years ago I've decided I'm not taking it out again, wife ain't happy about it, but she ain't the one working on it all the damn time, oh well, I didn't like it anyway.

she'll just have to drive the Probe until I can get her a different vehicle, at least it won't cost me 70 a week for her to drive around anymore :)

can't get to the bolts for the transmission, we had to remove the trans mount bolts and motor mount bolts and tip them both to get to the transmission bolts, don't know if there is an easier way or not, just not enough room to do it the way we did in auto trade.

I've been looking for a reason to get rid of it for a couple of years, just was hoping I'd have a replacement, I'm either getting her a Tracker or a Cherokee come tax time, I never had any problems working on either, rather she had a Wrangler or CJ cause they're the easiest vehicles I've ever had to work on, but she wants a 4 door.

yup, them s10s are a pain to do any of that with.. best thing to do is cut you a few long pieces of threaded rod and put them into the block, with nuts on the end of course, then you can slide trans back after tipping it down a little...

the top ones are easiest to get with a 1/4" socket, swivel, and lots and lots of extentions!
i bought me a transmission impact extention a while back from mac... best $75 i ever spent!  1/2" on one end 3/8 on the other.... makes trannys take no time at all....

I just use an adapter, used to have a couple extensions welded together to make one like what you said you bought, works great!

or pull the body bolts and jack up it up a inch or two. Don't forget to put body blocks in before sitting it back down. loll
