My new sleeper. 2000 GTP, turbo charged, oversize injectors and stainless steel SLP exhaust. Very fast and fun to drive. Got it just in time for winter. Lol

Looks like some bigger plug wires on there too. And that's a super charger not a turbo. Still really quick cars. Always like the GTP's. Sharp cars.

The super charger has been gutted, it's a glorified air box. Here's a link to the aftermarket turbo kit. http://www.cartuning.ca/products/product.php?model=grandprix&engine=l67 This thing has balls, was told around 400hp.

Just going by what I'm told and have read about the kit on this car. I didn't believe it til I drove it. Here's an article about the kit.

actually they can push well over 400. my buddy had a 99 that he turned into a race car, ended up with around 580 hp and about 7k into the trans, but its held up for over 4 years. ill see if i can find his super motors page, he has dynos and everything

Thanks guys and for all the info on it. The first time I really got into it, I thought I was going to have to pull leather out of my butt. Lol The guy I got the car from passed my info on to who built it. He contacted me to answer any question I had. I thought that was cool of him. All the work was done at a shop in Chicago. It's no race or drag car, but a fun sleeper   and gets good gas mileage, when you stay out of it.

the 4t65 trans was mated to the 5.3 in the ss monte and the gxp grand prix....its stronger than you think.
