well my 50" samsung plasma tv is starting to get little lines in the bottom of the picture. its only 3years old. pay $600.00 band new at walmart.

Don't feel to bad we have a Samsung plasma 50in that is only 2 years old and it has a few dozen vertical lines that are in 4 clumps that run vertical through the entire screen.  I will never own another Samsung plasma.

hmm ive had my samsung plasma for about 5 years no problems. im sure it will eventually give up. lol

I remember reading somewhere that plasma screen TVs don't last very long, more you use them the faster they die.

I'll stick with my LCD and LED TVs.

my tv is on probably 5-12 hrs a day, everyday. i think sometimes you just get lucky, and i think the temp changing will mess with it too.

Heard nothing but bad on plasmas....so I got me a led/lcd... Its on almost 24/7 for the past 2 1/2 years and not a single problem... Other thsn the kids like to loose the remote all the time

visio is the only way to go got 3 of them never had any problems
