27 is the number im hearing on the news, 18-20 children,
the shooter 1st shot his brother in Hobolkin NY then drove to the school in Conn & shot his mother who was a school teacher there, according to the news... sad day

I know this is gonna sound bad but I wish he would have lived and gone to prison.  He probably would have died a slow painful death at the hands of one of the inmates.  Drawn it out and made him regret his decision to kill all of those kids.

Its sad they we can't even feel safe to send our kids to school. This is very bad news no one should ever have to lose a child especially to something so messed up like this. Very very sick M F ers out there.

i've been seeing alot on both sides of the gun battle now....in situations like this i don't think we need to go right to gun laws but look at the environment that allows people like him to slip through the cracks....cps, friend of the court, and mental health deal with dead beats like this guy all the time and yet do nothing and claim their hands are tied until they actually do physical harm....then not only do they not do anything about it they start an investigation and mandatory counseling which further enrage the jackass's. the system we have in place for dealing with this type of people...and yes more often than not there is warning signs....needs to be evaluated and changed from trying to work through the problem of these sicko's to dealing with the problem before stuff like this happens again.

Watching this on the news after getting home last night, damn near had me in tears. Being a father of 3 which 2 are in grade school, really hit home hard. My prayers and sympathy go out to all those people. Those poor children and teachers that had to witness this horrific tragedy first hand. The police officers that had to take these poor children that had their lives taken away, I would not wish my worst enemy to witness. I hope this sick  is rotting away in hell in the worst possible agony imaginable! It makes me so sick to have to hear about children and innocent people being slain like this.
