Those are Jeep's attempt at headlights - they are pretty bad - and on the list of things to be changed! When I got the Jeep it ran - it wobbles - I drove it 325 miles home on 11lbs of air in the Super Swampers - the "squeal coming from the tranny was deafening (without the top) and the guy was happy to see it gone! When I got home - tore off the speedo cable = "the squeal" - new shock mounts and aired up the tires, and worked on "these cool blue switches that I use to air up my kids bike tires" yep, the ARB lockers one relay and perfect! So, it was built in the 90's in Phoenix - never used more than ice cream with the kids - and now I have it!
