I just got this one 30 mins ago traxxas motor runs when I hook the battery straight to it but won't  run when I put it and use the controller any help or make an offer

Is it a 2.4gzh radio or is it an AM/FM with crystals?  If its a 2.4 you may need try to rebind it.

Could also be in LIPO mode and no t in NiMH/NiCD.  I am guessing it still using the Traxxas ESC.

But yea if you have a NiMH/NiCD battery and the ESC is on LiPO battery mode it will not turn the motor b.c the low voltage cut see the fluctuation of the bttry and thinks its dieing so it will not move the car.

Also that is not a Stamped its a Rustler.  Stampeds have different chassis and dose not flare out at all

Kay I put the battery in push the esc botton it turns green for like 5 seconds then shuts off the I hold the button agine it trans red

It may need to b reprogramed or the esc and recever is bad
