tip i got from an old guy today

Needed a 1 3/16" wrench to check transfercase fluid level, only had an 1 1/4". He says "fill the gap with a feeler gauge". Worked great...

That's a pretty sweet trick, I normally just grab a metric adjustable wrench loll

Its a nice thought... until the feeler gauge slips out of the wrench and you stip it.  Or you wreck your feeler gauge and have to buy a new one.


With just a drain plug, it should work out nice.
