View board without logging in

I signed up here to see a "for sale thread", that's it.
it took around 24 hours to be allowed in, most unfortunate

it seems like you are doing your members a huge disservice by not allowing the "for sale" section to be viewed by non members (and to be crawled by search engines)
then to compound that... you have to wait for a mod/admin to approve your membership before being allowed to view it
anti /flood can be controlled with CAPTCHA and simple questions
you are essentially restricting the audience to members only, just bad form IMO.
I am not a "mud guy", but I might be interested in buying your truck, or tires, or whatever you are selling

there are many potential buyers out there, and opening it up to the world SHOULD help your members sell their stuff!

I would suggest a few of the sections on this board be set to "view by anyone" pics, projects, for sale.. etc"
it has been known to inspire membership in many forums that I mod/admin

Take it for what it's worth, just throwing it out there

it keeps members honest & members only can see it... been workin this way for last 9 yrs & We keep it drama free, I am the only one who OKs members to see the site, I try to check it once an hour but went north a few times & no internet, the members only keeps the trolls away, hope you enjoy the site... I try to keep it fun for everyone...

I guess I didn't make myself clear, I was IN NO WAY implying that just "anyone" should be able to post... just to view the posts in the for sale threads. you post your truck, or tires, or whatever for sale, I can see the post, and call, or email ya about it..

I fail to see how allowing the general public "View only" access to a certain part of your board could possibly create drama

its awesome here. most of us use other ways to sell our junk and not just here. id rather have a wgm member come to my shop or house as alot of them do, then some random tard from craigslist. to put it simple it is what it is and if you dont like it dont let the door hit ya. sorry for being upfront and to the point but thats the way it is.
