bad day scrapping i hate stuipid peaple

I took my 71 In To the scrap yard today and as I'm leaving a guy pulled in a nice 80 -86 f150 and I thought there was no way it was going to scrap so as he was heading to the scale I ran up and asked him and he said it was going to the crusher! I told him I would give him 400 cash right there and he said he could get 500 over the scale I told him he scrap was low he would be lucky if he got 375 so he drove across stupid s.o.b got 360 for it then looked at me and said guess I should have taken the 400

I hate people like that. Something similar happend to me a month ago. A guy brought in a brand new engine hoist. The cylinder had a small leak. I offered the guy 30$ and I would even unload it. He told me he'd get atleast 50$ just scrapping it. He ended up getting like 60 somthing for his whole load. I asked the scrap yard if I could buy it and they told me "sure can. 100$ and you can have it" I just turned around and left.

Ain't you supost to be working lol yup was not happy front clip and doors were rust free box had just a little around the wheel wells would have gone a easy fix

  that sux. I used to feed the shredder at rifkin. there was some sad sad days. Got a couple trucks that way tho too

Last load I took in I seen a pretty dam solid 70 chevy truck sittinv there. I asked the guy about it and he said once its here its over. They drain the fluids, core it and shred it. So sad....

that's why its called a scrap yard  been there many a time   back when I worked for  bobs auto parts down by deerfeild  any car that came in was bought  judged on what the parts on it were worth not by weight  but on the other hand  my main  job was too stuff and crush anything newer than 1978 lol      my good bud that owns 2 yards  told me if he saved all the good stuff he would have been broke years ago  ive tried too tell him the kinda stuff ya absoulutly cant scrap like runnin big blocks  and stuff like that

Lol  josh (fordrunner) and I have talked about how nice it would be to own one but the problem would be we wouldnt scrap anything lol
