The prices of living anymore are suffocating!! Our monthly bills just keep going up each year. Just going to the grocery store anymore puts me in a pissed off mood!

Yes 10 don't seem like much so sick of hereing that let's take that 10 and add it to this and that ,now what , let me bet governer wants this and don't forget cars he wants 50 more on each regerstration not spelled right its early ,but u get it , all these years all the small and large increase add up to your screwed,I want to know where is all the lottery money really going  it sure is not what there telling U, don't know about the rest but I'm getting tired of a loseing game here , land of the free. Not here!! Somebody really needs to start a new job on calling out these crooks like Comcast , AT&T , gas station can jump from any one price they want now think use to be penneys at a time , now 50 or more at one time , don't know about u but I'm getting to a point of boil over and that ain't good  !!!!

Yea its going to kill me...... I got 5 quads and a dirt bike and a truck.....do the math.....plus the price of gas is so high, Ionly run ppremium in them.....could barely afford it this year, I only been out a couple times so far...we'll see how my wallet is next year      I wouldn't mind if I only had to buy one or I could transfer them between orv's but ya can't and everyone I know buys more than one sticker, its going to hurt a lot of people

It's crap. They say for our roads, well look at our roads. Horrible , it for this and for that, so lets cut police and EMS.
Taxes are out of hand forshure, money isn't doing want it's intended
Then land taxes, wtf those are to support the war back in WW then extinguish but still here. And now they tell us what and what not we can do on our own land wtf. Permit for this permit for that. bull I thought we own our piece of land

I HAVE NEWS FOR EVERYBODY! The price increase for next years 2014 ORV sticker if signed by the Governor [ and it will be ] for you guys to ride will be $36.25 and NOT 26.25 as channel 5 news indicated.

The fee for a ORV license is as follows under the new HB 4669 Legislation

(a) For a license valid for the 12-month period beginning April 1, 2013, $16.25.
(b) For a license valid for a 12-month period beginning April 1, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, or 2018 and that does not
authorize operation of the ORV on state ORV trails, $26.25.
(c) For a license valid for a 12-month period beginning April 1, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, or 2018 and that authorizes
operation of the ORV on state ORV trails, $36.25.
(d) For a license valid for a 12-month period beginning April 1, 2019 or a subsequent April 1, no fee.

Its pretty appearant by reading the responses in this forum that not many people understand the new [ including channel 5 news ] two tier price for next years ORV stickers.
Please allow me to explain.

Starting April 1st of 2014, those folks operating their ORVs under PA 240 ONLY, will be paying 26.25 for an ORV sticker. Now you ask, what is PA 240? PA 240 allows the Counties north of US 10 the authority to open the far right maintained portion of their roadways to ORV traffic. It is up to the particular County if they opt in/out of this ordinance. So lets say that you live in a County that has adopted an ordinance under PA 240, you would now be able to leave your driveway with an ORV under 60 inches wide and with head lights and tail lights and ride the far right maintained portion of that County roadway. You may NOT operate your ORV on ANY portion of Michigans 3600 miles of designated trails with this $ 26.25 ORV sticker OR any of the Scramble areas like the Mounds or SL sand dunes. In order to ride the 3600 mile ORV trail system or the Mounds, you would now be required to buy the $ 36.25 ORV sticker.

Yep,the non-profit clubs who maintain your 3600 miles of trails AND the DNR, are laughing all the way to the bank on this one. One non profit ORV club already rakes in over $ 250k per year from YOUR  current $16.25 ORV sticker for sub standard work on some of our trails, now they get to rob us even more.

Nope, not how it works Mudduck. The only people who will pay $26.25 are those operating their ORVs under PA 250, which includes only those county roadways who have adopted the PA 240 ordinance, ALL others, including anyone operating on the 3600 miles of designated ORV trails OR Scramble area's [ the Mounds is a scramble area ], will pay $36.25.

I would bytch about it, but for once, I just like the rest of these guys on here, didn't take you up on your offer to go voice our opinion in lansing.  but I'll go on record that I did want to join you, the time was just not doable. So I guess whoever decides to complain about this, just like any new law, can just blame yourself for not doing anything to stop it

So here's a question.....say I purchase a Orv sticker under pa240..... can I use it at the mounds or in ''zones'' that are not pa240..... or would I have to purchase a desperate sticker?

id rather byTch about price of gas, grocerys water & electric, i need this stuff, ORVs not so much
ive stood in line & bitched about alot of things in my 49 yrs & all i did is waste my time and gas money, Big Buissness runs this world & we are all pissants who have no say... $4 dollar a gallon gas, $4.50 for a bag of chips 10 bucks for a pack of burger that useto be $2.50,electric bill had doubled, water bill has trippled
i could go on and on...not gonna waste my time and $40 bucks in gas to go to lansing  for DEAF EARS  to say thanks for your input...
until america starts making its own products & put americans to work
