in the hospital broke my leg/ankle

I'll explain what happened later but I broke my leg/ankle so I'm in the er waiting for xrays to see if I need surgery or not. Wish me luck.

It hurts pretty bad. Broken above the ankle somewhere and torn 2 ligaments

Yeah buddy.....  sounds like me last year, broke my ankle, tibula and fibula and tore all ligaments in my ankle, ended up with 4 plates and 18 screws, I've had 3 surgeries since and now only have 3 plates 12 screws that are hopefully soon to come out, I hope you don't need surgery.... the first one was the worst for me, felt worse than when I broke it, but they do give ya some good pain meds :-)

here it is 3 am and im in a ton of pain. cant get my leg/foot in a comfy spot so i can relax. i just want to cry wish it was monday so i can call the surgeon and get this fixed and in a cast.

so how did it happen?

I was unhooking a trailer and tip the tongue up and it started rolling towards the truck so I stopped it and asked the wife to move the truck so it wouldn't hit the truck. Well I didn't unhook the safety chains and it pulled the tongue down and forward with the truck and the jack ran into my foot which I had all my weight on it.
