Was wondering how you guys sealed up the area around the headers where they come through the hood! I keeps getting my ignition wet and sucking alot of water into the motor on my bogger so I was wondering if anyone had a good way to seal up and keep from getting a lot of mud and water Into the engine bay

Put regular headers on it and a regular hood. Solves all your problems!

MR NASTY

Your right its a ford your probably gonna need the good open a lot...jk  I seem this run and it gets it done lol.  I made the hood lift off on my jeep so the holes were way smaller.

uprights sound better and it easier to keep them out of the mud in case you fall into them deep holes, would hate to suck a bunch of mud ini a good motor if I can help it, was thinking about mounting a bigger pipe to the hood that would close over top the header that way I don't have to have huge holes in the hood

yup but ford made it, but CHEVY shakes it, she's got a decently healthy big block that helps turn the tires over, but thanks it does ok for what it is

I welded a 5 inch pipe to a plate of steel and cut the center out . Then i just bolted that right to the hood and cut my headers so they fit up into the pipe when my hood is closed.  Did the same thing for each header and seems to work fine..  dont even have to remove hood it opens fine on the hinges.

I mounted and sealed 6 inch chrome stacks to my lift off hood so your headers go up inside them seals it pretty good

Run mad dog headers
im not buying brand new headers when mine work just fine, plus when I was looking into having a set made a while back I called him twice and left messages both times and he never called me back, he does good work but if he's not going to take the time to call me back them he doesn't need my business
