What's your favorite carb for bogging? I'm thinking about getting rid of my 750 speed demon carb next year and upgrading.

i dont have a mud bogging problem, i got it under control

Edelbrock guys, take your carb off and see if you can manually open the butterflies. I used to run them, but after less then a year the butterflies would rust themselves solid and not open. This wasn't on a bogger, and it was on more then one carburetor I have seen this. Always had aircleaners on them also.

I let my truck sit for over a year and my 4 bbl opened up no issues, worked fine... Even my dads 68 firebird he let sit 8 years in the barn and they still worked... ... But I'm not here to argue, everyone has there brand, we all have the one that works the best for our application

Edelbrock use to be my favorite. always worked great, very simple, super easy to clean n rebuild, easy to tune. they just don't dump the fuel like a holley/demon double pumper. but thats where a holley/demon can be a pain they dump tons of fuel. but i got a vacum gauge and my demon has mixture screws at all 4 corners so it's not to bad. I'd just like to start with a brand new bigger carb, closer to 1000cfm.

I've never had a holley that would work right... had everyone who swore they could tune them mess with them, never was right. The only edelbrocks I've ever had that were worth a damn was the quadrajets... get one of those tuned right and you are good to go, they don't run out of gas bouncing in the mud as much either, that was my biggest problem with the holleys. Either way, at the end of the day I'd take TBI over any of it. Simple, Self adjusting, no splashing around... good to go ;D

I love the predators. i just dont tell anyone cause i still wanna pick up a couple lol Rebuilds are super easy and tuning is a breeze. Theyll run on damn near any angle too. cfm goes off engine demand and ranges from 390 cfm to 990 cfm. They used to be real popular on the old school monster trucks  ++peace
