Figured I'd share a little info I found last week, I put headers on my 400 ford motor and they didn't clear my starter. So I did a little searching and came up with a mini starter... off the shelf at Napa, it fit a 92-96 460. Works great. I'm sure most of the Ford guys know this, I didn't so I figured I'd pass it along. Should fit 351M/400 and 429/460. There are options for auto/ manual just like the big old starters.

They said buy something you can afford... so i bought a FORD

yup big difference between the old school starters and the 94 style starters. the 94 style starters are close to 2 hp and draw alot less amps

yea it was one of the best upgrades I ever made on my truck... pretty cheap I think I only paid like 70 bucks for the thing.
