Called tuscola dispatch to see how I get it inspected and they will send an officer out to inspect it. So when I get home today I'll call them back and get an officer to inspect it. Then hoping to go to SOS tomorrow and get the title, vin number and plate paperwork done and wait for the vin number to be issued

trooper just left he was happy with everything so now to get it weighed tomorrow then try to get to sos this week for the plate.

me too hoping it will haul nice and not bounce all over. It seems a bit flexible towards the back hoping it's ok that way and I don't bend it when loading. That's why I left the leveling Jack's in the back

When in doubt throttle out.

Crazymays77

Well empty it pulls ok not enough weight up front and with the axles where they are the trailer bounces weird over bumps hoping when the camper is on it pulls better and doesn't bounce so much. I can haul 10,000 on it so it should work for anything I need it for.

newS10

Just add the weight and it will be fine. With the camper and Bogger you will be good to go. ==np ++peace ++peace

Crazymays77

That's what I'm hoping. I was told to bolt the back boards down it might help with the flexing.

newS10

I thick you should bolt all the boards down just for the flexing.I bet it bounces left to right and back and just all over. just no weight to hold it down with the axles where they are. With it being set up as a camper new, It must have been 5000+ LBS. think it just needs the weight to pull good.  ==wgm ++peace ++peace

It was 11,200 by the title. It's 4600 now. It didn't go side to side much was mostly up and down even bucked the truck some. Hate to bolt it all down but going to do the back and see if it helps.

newS10

11.200 lol Ok It just needs the weight and you will be good. Nice job on the build, wishing I had one. I am look to buy one from C.J.  ==rocks ==rocks ==rocks

Thanks I'll tweak it if needed. Want to be able to use it for other stuff but if I can't drive the speed limit without it bouncing then I'll just leave the camper on it

Crazymays77

Ok I went to sos wednesday to get the paperwork done so I can get my plate. If any one needs to know the process for this I can explain it. anyways I did all the paperwork and now I am waiting for the vin tag and my title. I guess someone will be calling me when its ready and they will meet me somewhere to give me the title and put the vin tag on the trailer. wasnt to hard of a process to get this done either. Just have to wait and they say it can take 6-8 weeks to get the vin tag. so guess I get to wait and I hate waiting lol

Well I bolted all the boards down and raised the fender boards up for more clearance for the tires. I put one bolt in each board at every cross support. It feels like it is more ridged now. Not enough weight at the hitch thou. With just me on the back I can rock the truck at the hitch. See how it hauls empty when I get the plate for it.

Crazymays77

Got some more done on the trailer today. Made a gas can holder that I can lock so they cant steal the cans. Made a holder for the spare tire and a door for the ramps so they dont fall out.

It tows ok I took it up to get it weighed and it flexed front to back when I hit bumps. So I bolted the decking down and it stiffened it up but haven't been down the road with it yet. No plate yet. I think once the camper is on it it will haul better.
