i hunt state land and have never had a problem with any1 stealing mine but i also put it 12-14 ft in a tree and point it down at the feed pile makes it kinda hard 2 check the card have to carry out a set of steps 2 get the card out but in the 3 yrs a using it i havent had a problem with it disapearin my buddy had his takin over night last yr and he put it up just be4 he left the woods the night before and the nxt mornin it was gone so some1 was out in the woods way into the night his stand was there but his camera was gone i hate peps that steal anything

Yeah mine was on state land.  It was low but I've never had a problem before.  Oh well, Dave I'm using your method going forward.

I would use the best of both..
put on old crappy busted one at a stealable level..
put the good one in a tree way up..

take a pic of the thief.. and break both his F***** arms when you find him !!!

The hole in the ground i poured a bag of black magic powdered stuff out last year about this time, literally ate the ground, on a different note, thats the second person in 2 weeks same spot.
