Question for Jeep GC guys.

I need help trying to figure out what heads and blocks interchange for a 1999 Jeep G.C. with a 4.0L. I have a 97 4.0L core laying around and don't know if they can been interchanged with the 99 to 04.
Any help would be very useful. I'm new to the Jeep world. Thanks,SteeeveD.

I have a GC but i just keep wheeling it, havent fixed it yet lol.

Found Engine at Parts Galore in Detroit. s10crazy told me about the salavge yard. They charged me $202.00 plus a $30.00 core. The engine only had 127,000 miles on it. I haven't been to a yard that was as big this one. Their prices are cheap. They even have gantry cranes that you can use for free. The yard is located in Detroit off of west Warren ave. and Livernois

Heads are the same...intakes are different, and I think 99+ have a plastic valve cover....not sure but either way they are the same
