truck speedometer

was thinking about putting a 93 cab onto a 84 chassis  ??? is did the older  like 88 ish trucks have a mechanical/cable operated speedometer in them   seems like the 88 4wd  I had  was a cable but cant remember for shure    I know theres a few different kits too go from a electric trans too cable but  haven't found one too go from mechanical too electric

They ran an electronic speed sensor. Try finding a burb/blazer 88-91 241 t-case with an electronic speedo. it should have the correct stuff for the speedo to work yet keep the t-case drop on the passenger side.

didn't find anything  at yard  that had a cable on it  ??? probably could take the mechanical part of dash cluster out and put that into the electric dash
