Have a 2008 Cobalt with 2.2l. Has fuel and spark but will not start, says to change the crank sensor but wouldnt that make it have no spark?

Yup stupid little part that it has to have

It can still have spark with bad crank sensor.....crank sensor adjusts timing, and when its bad it can throw the timing 90degrees off

crank sensor the timing will be all over the place. Cam sensor = no spark.
