programmer questions

Ok so I just bought a new truck its a 2008 gmc v max. It has the special 6.0 in it. Was wondering what kind of programmer is a good one and what has everyone else used in the past. I have never used a programmer so all information would be helpfully thanks

I ran the Diablo I-tune sport tuner and it was pretty amazing on what it would do with the stock tunes that was n the programmer but then you could just easily plug it into any computer and build your own tunes pretty quickly
