pyrometer / boost gauge

I picked up a set of gauges at the swap meet last weekend  was wondering where too put the sensor end into the exhaust at  and where too hook the line for boost gauge  into  ive never hook one up before  ==np ==wgm

Boost would be the engine side of the turbo,typically if it's intercooled you would want it on the cold side piping coming from the I/C to the engine. For a correct pyro reading it should also be the engine side of the turbo, as close to the/ one of the manifold outlets as possible.

What kinda truck ?  On my diesel I was able to tap into some fittings in the intake for boost,

 Boost gauge goes on intake manifold. You want to always measure at the manifold.
